MaitaAbout Maia Matyas

Maia, a Cleveland native, has a passion for the arts and sciences, but always knowing medicine was her calling. She attended Baldwin Wallace University for her Bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry. While at Baldwin Wallace, Maia completed physics research in microgravity at Johnson Space Center, worked as a lab assistant, and spent many hours in the art studio as she has enjoyed painting since childhood.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Maia attended Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, receiving her master’s degree in physician assistant studies. Even though she loved Nashville, Maia moved back to Cleveland upon completion of her studies, working in both dermatology and family medicine since graduating from Lipscomb. Maia has an interest in both medical and aesthetic dermatology, where her love and science and art meet.
