Lauren Redd, PA-C

Lauren Redd is an Ohio licensed Physician Assistant and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Born and raised in Akron, she attended Walsh University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minored in chemistry. She played on the women’s soccer team during her 4 years at Walsh.

Following her undergraduate education, Lauren attended Baldwin Wallace University’s Physician Assistant Program and graduated with her Master of Medical Science degree in 2017. She began her career working in emergency medicine for five years. Following her passion for dermatology, she joined Apex in 2022 and completed Apex Dermatology’s fellowship training program.

Lauren specializes in both acute and chronic dermatological conditions for patients of all ages. She provides skin cancer screenings and particularly enjoys treating pediatric skin conditions. Lauren is passionate about educating patients on the importance of healthy skin.

Lauren currently resides in Akron with her husband, son, and two poodles. She enjoys trying new coffee shops, restaurants, and wineries/breweries with her family. She is a fan of being outdoors and hiking with their poodles. In the fall, Lauren enjoys attending OSU football games with her husband. Go Bucks!
