About Jennifer
Following in the footsteps of her grandmother and mother, Jen began her path as a laboratory professional at a very early age. Waiting for her mother to finish work, Jen began helping around the lab doing small little tasks. Throughout the years, those tasks would increase in complexity. Summers and school breaks would be spent in the laboratory, shadowing and learning from the best. After earning a bachelors of science degree from The Ohio State University in 2001, Jen continued her education and received her Histotechnologist license. Jen’s career path started in a private dermatopathology laboratory and lead to opening the anatomic and pathology laboratory at Ahuja Medical Center. Jen wrote policies, trained staff, designed protocols all which cultivated to a near-perfect inspection records in her tenure at the hospital. In 2019, Jen took on the adventure of designing and operating a brand new dermatopathology laboratory for Apex Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center. This laboratory has been a true product of love and passion. Each aspect of the laboratory was designed for efficiency, accuracy, safety, and compliance with all regulations.
