About Dr. Olivia Arballo, DO
Dr. Arballo is a board-certified dermatologist practicing at Apex Dermatology’s Solon office. She was born and raised in Chagrin Falls, OH and completed undergraduate studies at Miami University of Ohio majoring in Zoology and minoring in Spanish. She then attended medical school in Erie, PA at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine where she was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army. Dr. Arballo completed dermatology residency at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in San Antonio, TX. During residency, she was a Women’s Dermatologic Society mentorship grant recipient, performed research, lectured at the local and national levels, and was published in several well-recognized dermatology journals.
After her training, Dr. Arballo served as the sole dermatologist at Fort Campbell and Chief of the Medical Specialty Clinic at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. During her military service, she received multiple accolades for excellence in patient care and strong leadership abilities including an Army Achievement Medical, an Army Commendation Medal, and a Meritorious Service medal. Dr. Arballo recently retired from the Army to return to the Cleveland area and be closer to her family.
Dr. Arballo specializes in evidence-based treatment and modern surgical techniques. She treats patients of all ages and performs general and cosmetic dermatology. She is passionate about a holistic approach to patient care and has a strong interest in the study of nutrition to improve skin health. In her free time, she enjoys family time, baking, gardening, and working out. She feels very blessed to be part of the Apex team and to be serving the community she loves.
